It is said that “the eyes are the window to the soul”, and windows are your home’s most prominent feature. The windows may even have been the thing that attracted you visually to your house when purchasing it.
Here are some signs that it is time to replace your windows:
-warped or broken glass
-old wood frames that leak
-foggy windows, meaning that the seals inside are broken
-drafts in the winter
Right now is a great time to look at replacing windows as the Government of Ontario has a rebate program called GreenON Program. Under the GreenON Program you could be eligible to receive $500.00 in rebates for each window replaced in your home. To qualify the windows must be replaced by a GreenON approved contractor and the windows must meet the proper energy rating.
